If the requester and the owner are in the same area, the buyer should have the option of picking up the item with no shipping charges attached.

If the requester and the owner are not in the same area, shipping and/or handling charges may apply. Shipping and/or handling charges are to be negotiated between owner and requester and be reasonable.

Handling defined includes but is not limited to: boxes, tubes, and any other container used for shipping an item, tape, twine, bubble wrap, tissue paper, newspaper, peanuts, labels, ink from printer, time from the seller to carefully package item(s), gas to take it to the post office/ups/or other shipping facility, time in line to purchase the postage, gas to get there and other things.

As far as handling/packaging, keep it reasonable for the requester, but requester please be aware that you are saving time and your own gas by ordering the item to be shipped or prepared for you and the owner does have a right to recoup these costs.
